Quantum Wonder Course

Completed a foundational course in quantum mechanics under the guidance of Oxford Professor Dr. Hariom Jani, as part of the Raising a Mathematician Training Program.
The Quantum Wonder course was a mind-bending journey into the bizarre world of quantum mechanics. I found myself grappling with concepts that seemed to defy common sense, like Schrodinger's and Heisenberg's different pictures of quantum reality. The coursework was intense, pushing me to understand abstract ideas like entanglement, which Einstein famously called "spooky action at a distance." One of the most challenging aspects was wrapping my head around Bell's inequality experiment and its relation to entanglement . Learning Dirac's Bra-ket notation felt like acquiring a new language to describe the quantum realm. The team projects were particularly enlightening, as they allowed us to apply these abstract concepts to real-world scenarios. This course didn't just teach me physics; it drew a parallel between physics and philosophy.
